The most recent album release of pianist Teo Milea, 'Open Minds', won 2015 Best Classical Album on SoloPiano.com Radio in the United States. It is a great joy for the artist as last year his first record, 'On white...and black keys' (2012), was runner-up in the same category.
In short time, Teo Milea managed to become a well-known musician in Romania`s music scene. Although he has begun his solo career only in April 2012, the artist born in Chisineu Cris, made himself known and in a short time, he was invited to perform in important European events, like the one at the NATO headquarters in Brussels or on the stage of Dortmund Opera, in the International Ballet Gala.
At the end of October 2015, Teo Milea left Romania to continue his career in Canada, in Toronto. Before leaving, he was interviewed by VIPTIM Magazine and talked about his solo piano debut, his second album and his new life in Toronto.
